Finding the right early learning centre for your little one can be stressful
Our Victoria Point early learning centre is a 47 place facility. We provide early education from 15 months through to school age. We have 3 rooms with natural outdoor areas for little ones to explore.
Our Victoria Point campus prides itself on the amazing relationships we build with families, always encouraging their input and to become more involved within the centre and community.
Our Educators are passionate about early years education, providing all children, from nursery to kindergarten, with quality care in all areas of the National Quality Standards.
Homely Environment
Homely Environment
Each of our centres is unique but they all quickly become your child’s home-away-from-home. At Day One, we understand that children learn best in a space where they feel happy and safe. With highly engaging spaces to learn, explore and unwind, our learning environments spark curiosity and confidence.
Kindergarten Program
Kindergarten Program
It is our great privilege to be instrumental in preparing your child to be a calm, confident and curious learner, ready to successfully transition to school. The Kindergarten Program includes informative Parent Evenings because we understand the transition to school is also a big step for parents!
Beautiful Outdoor Area
Beautiful Outdoor Area
At every Day One centre, you will discover large, shaded outdoor playscapes that have been custom-designed with input from our children and families to provide highly engaging areas ready for daily adventures. These can include sand and water play zones, bike tracks, climbing equipment, interactive garden beds, cosy spaces for reading, and lots of space for all children to explore.
DO Curriculum
DO Curriculum
We have developed a number of bespoke Day One educational programs to prepare children for the opportunities and challenges of life beyond Day One. Our programs are incorporated into your child’s daily routine at Day One and are guided by their own interests. The DO Programs include DO Social, DO Health, DO Language, DO Knowledge, DO Creative, DO Planet and DO Kindy.
Excursions For All Ages
Excursions For All Ages
Day One World Explorers are often seen out and about exploring the community and environment in which we live. This includes everyone, from babies through to kindergarten. We encourage parents to participate in these excursions where possible too. The real benefit of excursions is that they provide real-life experiences that cannot be replicated in our centres or even at home.
Community Engagement
Community Engagement
Engaging in our local communities plays a paramount role in supporting children to develop feelings of belonging and security. Additionally, as children grow and develop, authentic relationships with the outer world helps them to find their place and leads them to understand shared values and how society works.
