How Day One is Different?
As a team in the earliest planning stages for Day One, we consulted so many experts in the field of early learning – some of these were mainstream teachers and medical specialists, and others were education professionals who chose to take a more unusual approach to childhood education.
Amongst us, we have also visited education centres in a number of different countries, as well, to make sure we really understand what inclusion and diversity means in the early childhood context, as well as to witness the ways children are supported to learn in different parts of the world. After all, our world is so interconnected today, who knows where children will eventually land up living and working?!?
At the same time, it is our very personal love of learning, instilled at a young age from wonderful family members and passionate teachers, that is at the heart of what we wish for all Day One children – to be calm, confident and courageous learners – excited to discover more of what the world has on offer and how they can best contribute through every stage of their life!
