Playground and room upgrades have been completed at Day One ELC’s newest, boutique facility within the south Brisbane suburb of Edens Landing.

Our newest childcare facility will cater for 65 children from 6 weeks to school age and will consist of four fully serviced rooms designed specifically for each age group, two large undercover outdoor play area unique to different age groups, quiet reading sanctuary, edible gardens, chicken run, art atelier and plenty of creative play space.

Day One ELC CEO, Monique Chelin, said the choice to open a new centre in Castile Crescent, Edens Landing, came from the increased demand of parents to access quality childcare within the southern suburbs where Day One already operates in Eagleby and Victoria Point. Monique is excited to be able to bring the Day One difference to Edens Landing!

Engaging spaces inside and out

The Day One ELC vision of early years education will be apparent the minute you walk into the centre. Staying true to the home-away-from-home boutique feel of Day One centres, children will always have access to the outdoor areas and every room creates a sense of calm for every young learner.

Within the four rooms and art atelier, you’ll find beautiful places where children can feel safe and at home. With a variety of modern learning resources, cosy nooks, tranquil reading hubs, and modular play spaces, the rooms will support quality interactions amongst children and educators. One of the rooms has been set up specifically for our Kindergarten Program, creating learning opportunities to ensure the children are well prepared for their formal years of education.

Day One Standard Inclusions

Every child at the Edens Landing Campus centre will benefit from Day One’s standard inclusions such as nutritious meals daily, complimentary extra-curricular DO programs such as yoga, music and sports programs, complimentary nappies and wipes, access to state-of-the-art learning resources and more! All of this comes alongside the proven DO Curriculum delivered by a team of qualified and passionate Educators.
